Have breakfast and then drive to Kibale. The northern route is shorter and faster and has a distance of about 300km with a tarmac road going to Fort Portal and also a distance of 36km on murram to Kanyanchu. On arrival you may visit the Crater Lake around. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
After breakfast you will go for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees. After trekking you will drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
You will have a morning game drive and in the afternoon go for a launch cruise along the kazinga channel where you may spot various water birds and animals. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast you will drive to Bwindi. You will have lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast you will have a briefing and after go for trekking, this could take 4-8 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. During trekking you may spot other primates and different bird species which are good for kin bird watchers. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Have breakfast and head for Kampala arriving in the late afternoon.
